New Hampshire CHildren's AUthors @ APple Harvest Day 2024

What do we love more than sharing stories with you? Other authors who do the same! We're excited to be joining a great group of other New Hampshire authors at Apple Harvest Day in Dover, New Hampshire on October 5, 2024. Here's who you'll see there!

Carolyn Watkins of Trailblazer Books
Carolyn is an award-winning author of children’s books. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a former elementary teacher and Special Education Assessment specialist. Her first book, The Knock, is the recipient of 12 International awards, including the Certificate of Excellence in Children’s Literature, Purple Dragonfly Book Award. Carolyn resides in New Hampshire with her husband and three grown sons.

Marti Fuerst of Inky Elephant Press
Marti is a librarian, artist, technical writer. She has been drawing since she could first hold a pencil and likes to say that she never met an art supply she didn't want to try. One of her earliest works (permanent marker on drywall) is still on display on the wall of her childhood home.  She loves telling quirky stories with playful pictures, and she has an impressive collection of hats and elephants. Marti lives with her family in New Hampshire.

Naomi Fredette of Jinx Inks Publishing
Naomi is a writer, vintage collector, Halloween lover and a preschool speech assistant. Born and raised in Granby Massachusetts, Naomi now resides in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, Josh, and daughter, Eleanor. When she’s not writing, she’s found in her studio refinishing furniture, vending at vintage markets or lounging on the beaches of the east coast.​

Patricia Hoyt of Dragonfly Publishing
Patricia is a published author, educator and retired Elementary Education teacher as well as a mother. In her 34 years of teaching experience, she has owned and operated an activity center and directed three pre-school/childcare facilities. In the public school system, she taught kindergarten through fifth grade.  She has two adult children and lives in Thornton, N.H. with her partner, Lester. Patricia enjoys reading, writing, and creating stories and hopes you enjoy them too!
